Cathy Rovithi - Dimitriou Cathy Rovithi-Dimitriou was born in Crete, Greece, where she received her primary and secondary education. She studied nursing at the University of Athens and in Soissons, France. She started painting at the age of 23 with a minimum of professional instruction. Cathy immigrated to Canada in 1961 and worked in the field of Health and Welfare in the province of Quebec. She is married and has two sons. Professional Affiliations: Nepean Fine Arts League Counseil des Arts d'Aylmer Her favoured subject is landscapes from her native country. She particularly loves the picturesque greek islands with the sun, the boats and the sea. -- Oh the sea!!
