| 1 pkg Shortening 2 cups sugar 6 eggs 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup milk pinch of mahleb 6-7 cups flour |

Use mixer to mix shortening then add gradually other ingredients.
Make sure when adding the flour not to use it all if it is not necessary. As soon as the dough becomes soft and doesn't stick to bowl...it is ready.
Roll dough into desired shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 F oven until golden brown. (make sure to check often)
