The Estate of the late George Alexopoulos established a scholarship fund in 2008 to honour his memory known as the “George Alexopoulos Memorial Scholarship”. Jeanne Rosemary Georgiles Scholarship

The “Jeanne Rosemary Georgiles Scholarship Foundation” was established in December 2005, by Mr. Dimitrios (James) Georgiles in memory of his beloved wife. Mr. Georgiles, a great benefactor of the Hellenic Community of Ottawa, passed away on August 27th, 2012; however due to his generosity this legacy continues. The Senior Citizens Association will be holding their “Taverna Night” on Thursday, October 26th at 5:30 p.m., at the Banquet Centre.
