The Hellenic Community of Ottawa 2021 Yearbook

Will Your Information Be in the Yearbook?

The Hellenic Community of Ottawa (HCO) is very pleased that the Seniors’ Association undertook to lead this special edition yearbook.  The 2021 HCO yearbook commemorates the 90th Anniversary of our Community as well as the 200th Anniversary of Greece’s Independence.

There has been a substantive change to the previously announced and published guidelines for placing your names, addresses and phone numbers in the directory of our upcoming 2021 Yearbook. Unless you specifically request by e-mail or in writing that we DO NOT publish your personal information in our Yearbook, it will be included.

You can make your objections known by e-mail to We will respect all such requests provided we receive them prior to June 25th. There is no need to respond if you do not object to publication.

If you already have submitted by e-mail or mail the Telephone Directory Consent Form which was sent to you awhile back, no further response is required.

The telephone directory is a very important part of the Yearbook. Please note that the information we currently have on our records in the HCO offices will be the information that will be printed. If there has been a change in your information, or should you wish to have your cellular number and/or e-mail included, please also send it to us using the means described above.

Also, this is the final reminder if you wish to place a personal message, a business advertisement, or an in-memoriam message in the 2021 Yearbook. The absolute final date for these submissions will be Friday, June 25th. We cannot guarantee that a later submission will be included. You can access the forms below.

The success of this initiative is extremely important for all of us.  All financial proceeds, over and above production costs will go to benefit the HCO.  In these difficult times, it will also be a morale booster.  It will also show the Community-at-Large that we are proud of Greece’s Independence heroes and of our beloved Community.
